About the Instructor

Catherine Robertson

Catherine (owner and designer of Elanne & Ivy) has specialized in making handmade jewellery for over fourteen years. In 2023, she started making Turkish lamps as a hobby, and quickly became a pro. Catherine is pleased to share her expert lamp-making skills in her Turkish Lamp-Making Classes!

Having years of experience as an art instructor, and a college professor at Conestoga College, she is great at teaching new things - especially where creativity is key. Catherine has a relaxed teaching style, and encourages her students to select complimentary colours and designs, creating the perfect piece every time.

When not in her backyard studio, Catherine may be found gardening, cooking, or crafting. Her favourite thing in the world is spending time with her family and companion animals.
